Hunter Wilson is President of GenSpring Family Offices in Palm Beach, FL, and has been with the firm since 1995. He is responsible for the management of the Palm Beach office and the investment advisory and wealth management services provided to our family office clients. As Senior Vice President and Senior Trust Officer of GenSpring's private trust company, Teton Trust Company, Hunter is also responsible for the management and delivery of GenSpring's trust and fiduciary services. He works closely with client families on a variety of wealth management issues, including estate planning, trusteeship, family education and multi-generational planning. He is also involved in asset allocation, investment management and tax planning decisions.
Hunter was formerly a Senior Manager with Deloitte & Touche in its management consulting group for more than eight years. He also served as Director of Merger and Acquisitions for Ocwen Financial Corp, a publicly-traded $5 billion banking and investment company.
Hunter earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Florida in 1982. He is a Certified Public Accountant (Florida) and a member of the American and Florida Institutes of CPAs. He is an active member of several wealth management forums including The Family Office Exchange (FOX) and The Institute for Private Investors (IPI).
